George Washington University Solar/Electrochemical Research Labs

Ashburn, VA

Project Description

This project provided George Washington University with the complete renovation and fit-up of a dedicated Solar Energy Research Lab on the Virginia Science Technology Campus. The 1,600-square-foot lab was designed for the development of solar energy storage systems and contains zones for electrochemistry, fuel cell testing, solar simulation, optics and spectroscopy and fabrication. An extensive overhead grid system enables the development of novel solar simulation testing systems.
